The European Commission has approved YUFEPULSE, the next phase of the Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE) Alliance under the European Universities Initiative. The project has been awarded €7.2 million in Erasmus+ funding, ensuring the continuation and further development of the Alliance’s activities, including those carried out by Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
YUFEPULSE marks another important milestone in building an open, inclusive and student-centred European University. Through this new funding, the Alliance will further develop personalised and flexible mobility opportunities, strengthen civic engagement and lifelong learning, promote multilingualism, and implement innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
As Maria-Valerie Schegk, Secretary General of YUFE, stated:

For Nicolaus Copernicus University, participation in YUFEPULSE represents the continuation of its active contribution to one of Europe’s flagship higher education initiatives. The project will create new opportunities for students, doctoral candidates and staff while reinforcing NCU’s role in shaping the future of the European Higher Education Area.
